13 – wild (79)
Zeke frowned; he had always known that Casey had a lot of secrets, but that he would turn into a god of dancing, wild, uncontrolled and hotter than hot was a surprise he hadn't been prepared for; to be honest, he wouldn't have minded it when Casey would have danced like this in his garage, but he did like the way the boy pulled the attention of almost every guy in the club to him, not in the slightest.

14 – respect (77)
„Casey, get off my back,“ Zeke sighed,“this is for sure not your business,“ but the boy continued to stare at him with narrowed eyes, dark with anger, while he hissed:“You can be such a dumbass; Mr. Furlong is a good teacher, and he tries his best to help you, even if I don't understand, why, and at least you should show him some respect instead of making a fool out of him in front of everyone.“

15 – shadow (56)
Zeke shuddered visibly, and Casey smirked:“What's wrong, these are just some bizarre shadows on the wall,“ but Zeke couldn't help it, these dark figures reminded him just too much on this horrible night, when an alien had tried to take over the world; he grabbed for Casey's arm and murmured:“Just let us get out here, okay?“

16 – open (54)
His parents had always encouraged him not to listen too much to rumors but to be open for everything and to make his own mind, but this time Casey's heart was up in his mouth when he finally told them that he planned to go to New York after graduation, together with his boyfriend.

17 – professor (45)
„So,“ Casey said and grinned wide while eying his best friend in his gown,“ Professor Tyler, I always knew, that you will make your way, though there were times where you did all to prove that you are a smart shitass who don't care about anything at all.“

18 – door (44)
The door closed behind Casey but instead of feeling relieved Zeke suddenly felt tears burning in his eyes; he never cried, and he knew to avoid serious relationships; so, why did it hurt so much to think, that maybe Casey would never forgive him?

19 – hobby (80)
Since he could remember the others had laughed about him, had bullied him; he was not interested in sports, he was not interested in girls, he was just the boy with the geekiest hobby, photography; back then Casey had never dared to hope that this would ever change, but now, five years later, he was the guy who had made it onto the cover of the most famous magazines as the youngest photographer who had ever gotten the Pulitzer Prize.

20 – knitting (110)
To find a fitting birthday present for Casey had been more challenging than Zeke had ever thought; he had planned to go and buy something, a book about photography or the expensive lens for his camera he dreamed about for so long already; but then Casey had told him not to dare it to spend any money for him, and Zeke knew him well enough to know that he did mean it; some sleepless nights later he had found answer: a scarf, colorful and soft, handmade by Zeke; it was a geeky gift, and he couldn't wait to see the surprise in Casey's eyes when he gave it to him.

21 – writing (80)
Zeke had never thought much about writing; it was more playing with words, and it helped him to keep a clear mind when the world around him seemed to vanish into chaos; it was Casey who discovered his secret and who encouraged him to come out with it, and he told him: “People might call it geeky, but what do you care about other people's opinion, you are a talented geek and it would be a shame to waste your talent.“

22 – computer (32)
Zeke knew a lot a cars and all about chemistry but when it comes to computer he would have been hopelessly lost if not Casey would have taken him under his wings.

23 – office (65)
His father had always wanted him to go to business school after graduation and to take over his architecture office one day; Casey loved his parents, and usually he followed their wishes, but deep inside he knew that it was time for a serious talk because his heart belonged to photography and the thought of working in an office day-in day-out drove him crazy.

24 – tea (48)
„You are not my mother,“ Zeke had protested weakly when Casey had insisted that herbal tea with honey was the best when you had a cold; the boy had hesitated shortly, then he had smiled and said:“I'm not, but I'm here and I care for you.“

25 – bitter (68)
„I don't get it,“ Casey said, looking down at Zeke in his hospital's bed; it had been last minute that he had found him in his garage half conscious and called the ambulance yesterday, „ why don't you want me to inform your parents,“ and Zeke smirked bitterly:“ Because a cruise in the Caribbean is much more important than a ruptured appendix of a long forgotten son.“
