Zeke watched Casey amused; the boy was so happy hyper as if he had taken too much Scat, and Zeke knew it had been a good decision to take him to the big parade in Columbus, though he himself never had been wild about all this chaos people used to call Christmas; at least for a while Casey was able to forget his sorrows.
