Casey shuddered, though it actually wasn't cold in the room, he sneaked closer to the fireplace; he had learned not to think too much about the past, but it was the first Christmas after the alien invasion, and he couldn't get the pictures out of his head; his mom, singing Christmas carols during baking tons of cookies and his dad, decorating the house with lots of colorful lights... it would never be like that again.
