Zeke had never trusted anyone in his life, not after his parents had left him alone when he had needed them most; then he had met Casey, and as hard as he had tried to keep him on distance, the stubborn boy with these amazing blue eyes had finally made the way into his heart.

Flabbergasted Casey stared at the camera, lying in front of his locker at school; a shining new one, and so expensive, that he could only dream about it; with trembling hands he bent down to grab the small card and read the words: Happy birthday, geek boy, now go and have fun again.
